How to Request Data Deletion

Sorcrr allows you to request deletion of some or all of your personal data without deleting your account. You can manage your data through the app or by contacting us directly.

Option 1: In the Sorcrr App

• Open the Sorcrr app and sign in to your account
• Go to Settings (tap the menu icon)
• Tap Your Data (under Account)
• Select the data you want to delete or tap Request Data Deletion to remove all personal data
• Confirm your selection and enter your password to verify your identity

Option 2: Public Request Form (no sign-in required)

If you can’t sign in (for example, because you’ve uninstalled the app), you can request deletion through our public form. We’ll verify your identity by email and process the request within 30 days.

Option 3: By Email

Send an email to privacy@sorcrr.com from the email address associated with your Sorcrr account. Include “Data Deletion Request” in the subject line and specify which data you would like deleted. We will verify your identity and process the request.

Types of Data That Can Be Deleted

You can request deletion of the following categories of personal data:

• Profile information — Name, bio, profile photo, contact details, employment history, skills, and education
• Video profiles — All recorded video introductions
• Messages and conversations — Chat history with other users
• AI and personalization data — SAI conversation history, preferences, matching data, and personalization settings
• Job applications — Application history and associated documents (active applications will be withdrawn)
• Analytics and usage data — Activity logs and usage statistics linked to your account
• Uploaded documents — Resumes, cover letters, and other files you have uploaded

Data That Is Retained

Certain data may be retained even after a deletion request, as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

• Payment and transaction records — Retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance
• Anonymized analytics — Previously collected anonymous usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you
• Legal and compliance records — Data required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements

Additional Data Controls

Sorcrr also provides the following data management options without requiring a deletion request:

• Export your data — Download a copy of all your personal data in JSON format (Settings > Your Data > Export My Data)
• Disable analytics — Turn off usage analytics and personalization (Settings > Privacy)
• Manage visibility — Control who can see your profile, contact info, and activity
• Delete your account entirely — If you want to remove your account and all data permanently, visit our Account Deletion page
